The dream of Oryx Safari began in 1997, after my first hunting journey to South Africa, where I then discovered that Africa ran in my veins. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to this magnificent continent seeking new adventures, and as a result have managed to establish a large network of friends and colleagues in the safari business.

Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to this magnificent continent seeking new adventures, and as a result have managed to establish a large network of friends and colleagues in the safari business.
To give you a bit of history, in 2004, I took my very first client on a safari. In 2006, I completed my Professional Hunting course and registered Oryx Safari as a business in Norway. In 2009, after settling in South Africa, I married my wife and began to devote myself to the safari business. As a South African herself, my wife has also worked for a well-known South African safari company for several years, focusing on hunting safaris to Mozambique and South Africa. From 2009 – 2016, I have guided safaris in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe before moving back to Norway. For the last few years and due to the constant longing for Africa, I have continued to arrange hunting safaris for my clients with colleagues.

We therefore strive to give you personal, dedicated service and follow up on your safari. I will happily be your personal guide for the duration of the safari, arranging collection and drop-off at the airport too. Alternatively, I can also arrange a journey with my local, trusted colleagues who will have the pleasure of guiding you through the safari from start to finish.
